Stocks in this scanner appeared on the previous trading day.
You trade them today. Read every rule before placing a trade.
1 · Entry Rules
BUY Entry (Breakout)
- Wait for price to break above yesterday's daily High.
- Enter only after price trades above that level — not before.
- Use a buy stop order placed just above yesterday's High.
SELL Entry (Breakdown)
- Wait for price to break below yesterday's daily Low.
- Enter only after price trades below that level — not before.
- Use a sell stop order placed just below yesterday's Low.
2 · First-5 Rule
1stTake
2ndTake
3rdTake
4thTake
5thTake
1
Take only the first 5 entries that trigger during the day. Any stock that triggers after the 5th is skipped — no more entries for the rest of the day.
2
You can take entries beyond the first 5 — there is no rule stopping you. However, our strategy has only been backtested for the first 5. Anything beyond that is at your own discretion.
3
Position sizing: Divide your total capital equally across the 5 trade slots. Each slot gets 1/5th of your capital.
3 · What to Avoid
✕
Gap-up on BUY day — if today's open is already above yesterday's High, skip that stock. The breakout is already done; entry is poor risk/reward.
✕
Gap-down on SELL day — if today's open is already below yesterday's Low, skip that stock. Same reason.
✕
Late entries after 12:15 PM — do not take any fresh entry at or after 12:15 PM. Late-day entries have lower edge and less time for the trade to work.
✕
Carry-forward — all positions must be squared off by end of day. No overnight holding under any circumstances.
✕
More than 5 trades — once 5 entries are taken, stop. No additional entries even if more stocks trigger.
4 · Stop Loss
BUY Trade SL
The scanner provides a stop loss level, which is somewhat dynamic. If a
15-minute candle closes below the stop loss level, exit the trade immediately.
SELL Trade SL
The scanner provides a stop loss level, which is somewhat dynamic. If a
15-minute candle closes above the stop loss level, cover the short immediately.
!
Exit on the 15-minute TF candle close below the SL level (for BUY) or above the SL level (for SELL) — not on intrabar price movement.
5 · Exit Rules
A
Stop loss hit — exit on the 15-minute TF candle close below the SL level (for BUY) or above the SL level (for SELL) as shown in the scanner.
B
Force exit at 3:25 PM — if SL was not triggered, exit at the close of the 3:25 PM candle. Do not wait for 3:30 PM.
⚠ Important
The 3:25 PM exit is non-negotiable. Relying only on the SL exit and skipping the 3:25 PM exit dramatically hurts returns. Always exit by 3:25 PM.
